Hi =D Yep, I've FINALLY updated with a new deviantation. Surprised? It's been like, ages... xD

Err.. this piece was rather rushed to make the deadline for the Misty-Fan-Club Costume Change contest. I know, I know. Not very proportionate =__= But the lineart took like a full hour with the mouse. My hand kept moving down for some reason when I was controlling the mouse. xD Then coloring was a bit rushed.

Ehh... piece inspiration came directly from summer. The end of summer, the end of fun. ;___; I suddenly imagined Misty in a gorgeous yellow dress, walking on a grassy hill under dawn. xD I wish that I could have worked harder on this piece, but then I'd miss the deadline. I thought I'd try a Misty contest since I haven't entered any DA contests yet xD

Despite the rush, it's still a very great piece. I love the soft warmth of the piece as a whole. Even though the proportions are a little off and whatnot, I love it none the less ;)

(And as for me, summer can't end soon enough... I'm tired of all this heat! *just came out of a ~100 degree heatwave week* )

Wow, she looks so pure and angelic... I LOVE the wind in her hair and the grass, and the soft, dusk feel of this. This is like a photo that could go on the cover of a magazine. ;)

Beautiful composition and mood! I think there's a bit of lack of shading in the dress, but everything else is just perfect. I love the lineart and soft tones in the sky.

That's DAAAAAMNNN good for being rushed. The only thing I can point out is that it kinda looks like she has no nose. Other than that, it's BEAUTIFUL!
